Ordering Information and Policies

Orders may be placed via the website, email or by mail. The website is the best option, as inventory is real time and up to date. We don't currently accept phone orders. When ordering via email, we will send an invoice with shipping quote for you to pay from. If ordering by mail, please list acceptable substitutes or if you prefer credit for plants that may not be available. Orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. Acknowledgements are sent via email. If you don't have email, we will mail them. We don't have a minimum order.

Our shipping charge is now just $10 flat rate. We typically ship USPS Priority Mail. We've had good success shipping plants this way and they typically handle packages more carefully than other shippers, but shipping damages and delays can happen. Please contact us if there is damage to your package or if it's delayed. As always, pictures are helpful.

Our shipping season runs May 1st through October 15th, weather dependent. We are in the far north and some years we might stay frozen until May, which can delay the start of shipping until June. We can ship outside of this season at your request, but be aware that plants may be fully dormant.

We now ship almost all orders completely bare root. The reason for this is to comply with regulations in a number of states; especially those west of the Mississippi River. If you live in Wisconsin or east of Wisconsin and would like your order shipped potted, just let us know and we can probably accommodate you; be aware that shipping potted material will incur extra shipping charges. Sales Tax is added for Wisconsin residents. Sorry, at this time we do not ship outside of the country.

All of our plants are grown in containers. Pot sizes listed are standard horticultural sizes. If you require actual volume, please contact us.

We guarantee our plants to be healthy and true to name. They leave the nursery healthy, and will arrive that way. If there is a problem with your order upon receipt, please let us know via email or writing within 5 days. Include pictures if possible. Unpack your order as soon as possible and check that the plants have adequate water. Plants may yellow or wilt slightly during shipping. We like to be notified if this happens, but plants usually will perk up after a couple of days. Sometimes plants may have been recently cut back or otherwise cleaned up. If this is the case we expect new growth within two weeks. If we've shipped you a plant, we expect it to do well. If we aren't confident of a plant's performance or health, we don't ship it and send you a refund.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. If you have any questions regarding your purchase (care, pest problems, etc), please contact us. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchases, please contact Botanophilia LLC at sales@botanophilia.com, within one week of receiving the product(s) and we'll do what we can to make it right. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Botanophilia LLC will NEVER share or sell your personal information.
