Another Year Over

Another crazy season has ended. We had a great time seeing old and new friends at our various events, which were all very successful this year! Thanks for sharing in our crazy plant passion!

2019 was a little crazier than most years, as we FINALLY found a new property. We closed at the end of August and commenced moving our belongings and all of the plants. We still have a bunch of nursery-related things to move, but right now I'm concentrating on putting the plants away for winter.

2020 will be our 10th year already! I'm not sure where the last decade went, but we're looking forward to another amazing year. I'm working on placing orders for spring, we'll have a bunch of new plants for you to buy and we can't wait for warmer weather!
Happy winter,

August Break

It's been a very busy summer, as usual! We're going to be taking a break from shipping for the month of August, but it's because we're busy working towards having some big news very soon!

Wednesday, May 29, 2019

With the long cold spring we've been having, it's hard to believe it's almost June already. Things are behind several weeks and we're starting to ship judiciously. We'll be very busy with events in the next two weeks, check out our Education and Events section to stalk us and figure out where to buy plants in person.

Along with the cold weather came a lot of cold damage and some crop failures. We've removed quite a few items from the store, and will slowly add things back to inventory as they emerge and look good. So keep checking back; and if you know we had something listed earlier but don't see it now, feel free to send us a message.

Online Store Is Now Open!

We're officially open for orders for spring! The website is up to date, but of course subject to changes based on crop failures during winter, plant condition upon arrival, non-shipment of varieties etc. As always we'll start shipping in May based on how plants are looking.

You can find our list of new plants and plants that are returning after a brief absence in this post. As we add or remove items this list changes, so if you've looked before it's worth taking another look.

We've been busy getting events finalized and our events page has been updated. Have an event for us to sell plants at or want Nick to talk about plants to your group? Contact Him!

Late Additions

We've added just a few plants to the store recently.

Carex appalachica is a nice petite sedge that likes dry shade. It would look great with Epimedium and Heuchera.

Heuchera 'Stainless Steel'  is making a return, it's a favorite of mine and you need it.

Kirengeshoma palmata is also making a return as we had special order for a large number of them. We've only got 5 extra to sell and expect they won't last long.
